True World Foods started from very humble beginnings in 1975 in Brooklyn, New York. Our first location was called New York Fish House, selling on the streets of Brooklyn to retail customers passing by. Steadily, we expanded to other cities in the US and by 1995 we had over 20 separate, independent locations. Since then, we have all merged into True World Foods LLC. By doing so, it has allowed us to unify our buying power, set greater standards of quality from our sources and most of all, to be able to offer what we believe is the best value on the market to our customers.

     What we believe makes True World Foods LLC unique in the marketplace is our corporate culture. Its underlying principles are that we look to live our lives for the sake of others, believe in the philosophy of oneness and instill the idea of teamwork to all our employees. By doing so, we are able to offer unparalleled personalized service, one of the largest inventories in the seafood business and the highest standard of quality product delivered fresh daily.

     Each day, beginning in the early hours of the morning, we deliver sushi quality seafood to more than 2,000 restaurants across the United States.
